Commentary

August 31, 2015

President Obama is taking a vacation-but not from his radical agenda! Hi, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. If you want to cut Planned Parenthood's money, prepare to lose yours! That's what the federal government is telling states, who are moving to defund the disgraced abortion business. In Louisiana, New Hampshire, Alabama, and Arkansas, leaders decided to protect taxpayers by redirecting state money to groups who aren't under criminal investigation for harvesting organs. That didn't sit well with the Obama administration, who's willing to do anything to shield Planned Parenthood-including threatening states. According to reports, HHS "warned the states that their plans to terminate...agreements with Planned Parenthood may illegally restrict... access to [family-planning] services." But if the government is expecting the states to blink, they've got another thing coming. As far as governors like Bobby Jindal are concerned, what's illegal is selling baby body parts-not finding non-abortion alternatives to Planned Parenthood! For more, go to TonyPerkins.com.
