Weekend Edition - December 8, 2018
On this weekend edition of "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton joined Tony to discuss a lawsuit against San Antonio Police Chief William McManus for mishandling a case of human smuggling by releasing a dozen suspected illegal immigrants. USCIRF Vice Chairwoman Kristina Arriaga joined Tony, a fellow USCIRF Commissioner, to highlight a study taken by the commission finding Saudi textbooks advocating for violence. Dr. Michelle Cretella, the executive director of the American College of Pediatricians, was on the show to talk about the Trump Administration's support for the scientific definition of sex in federal law. Also, Founder and national spokesman of The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation, E. Calvin Beisner, weighed in on the riots taking place in Paris over Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron's climate change taxes.
