Tony Perkins

July 26, 2018

On Thursday's edition of "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) joins Tony with the latest in the process of confirming Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the United States Supreme Court. Director of the Office of Management and Budget and Acting Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Mick Mulvaney gave an address at the first-ever Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom event this week and is here to give an inside look at some of the highlights. USCIRF Vice Chair Kristina Arriaga joined the Ministerial summit and will talk with Tony about the story of imprisoned American Pastor Andrew Brunson, who was recently moved from a Turkish jail to house arrest -- a story that was addressed in remarks by both Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Also, FRC's Vice President of Policy Travis Weber attended the majority of the event and will share his biggest take-aways and what message he sees this historic summit sending to nations involved in religious persecution.
